The E-4B Nightwatch airborne command post carries the Square B tail insignia in honour of the 95th Bombardment Group, a Second World War bomber unit awarded three Presidential Unit Citations. The marking, a black square with a white B, originally identified B-17 Flying Fortresses assigned to the group. The first E-4B wearing the Square B tail flash was unveiled at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, on 26 June during the 95th Wing's Heritage Week.
