The KA-6D Intruder was a US Navy carrier-based aerial refuelling aircraft developed from the A-6 Intruder. Designed to extend the range and endurance of carrier aircraft, it retained the Intruder's robust airframe while carrying a specialised hose-and-drogue refuelling system. It entered US Navy service in 1970 and remained in service until 1997.
