The Chengdu J-10 entered People’s Liberation Army Air Force service in 2004 as a single-engine multirole fighter with a canard-delta configuration. It performs air-defence, air-superiority and ground-attack missions, with later J-10C variants adding modern radar, avionics and weapons integration. The J-10 remains in active service with China and Pakistan.
