The Su-25 is a Soviet twin-engine ground-attack aircraft developed by Sukhoi for close air support and battlefield attack missions. Designed to operate at low altitude, it features an armoured cockpit, redundant flight systems and multiple hardpoints for carrying rockets, bombs and missiles. It entered Soviet service in 1981 and remains in service with several air forces today.
