Description
Description
Hobby Master provides the most extensive collection of military aviation models currently on the market, ranging from modern 1/72 scale prototypes to 1/48 Warbirds. All models come with pilot figures, weapons load, display stand and landing gear.
The SR-71 Blackbird entered US Air Force service in 1966 as a twin-engine, high-altitude strategic reconnaissance aircraft. Designed by Lockheed’s Skunk Works, it used advanced aerodynamics, titanium construction and powerful J58 engines to sustain speeds above Mach 3 at extreme altitudes while collecting intelligence from hostile airspace. The SR-71 was retired in 1998, although it remains the fastest crewed air breathing aircraft ever made.
