The F-5F Tiger II is an American two-seat supersonic fighter developed by Northrop as a combat-capable trainer variant of the F-5E. It features the same twin-engine configuration and can carry a range of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons, while the second cockpit provides space for an instructor or additional crew member. It entered US service in 1975 and has been operated by numerous air forces around the world.
