HA19080 | Hobby Master Military 1:72 | F-4E Iran Air Show 2024 3-6538, IRIAF, Kish Island | is due September 2025
The F-4 Phantom II entered Iranian Air Force service in the late 1960s under the Shah, as part of a major U.S.-supplied modernization program. Iran operated F-4D and F-4E variants, using them for air superiority, ground attack, and reconnaissance missions. Despite the 1979 Islamic Revolution and subsequent sanctions, Iran has maintained and upgraded its F-4 fleet through domestic modifications, avionics improvements, and reverse-engineering, keeping them operational as a core part of the Iranian fighter force.
