HA1442 | Hobby Master Military 1:72 | A-4E Aggressor Scheme 151118, VA-43, US Navy, 1975 | is due August 2025
The A-4E Skyhawk was used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as an adversary or “aggressor” aircraft to simulate enemy fighters during training exercises. Painted in camouflage schemes resembling potential adversaries’ aircraft, these A-4Es provided realistic air combat training, helping pilots practice dogfighting tactics against aircraft mimicking Soviet and other foreign designs. The program enhanced pilot readiness and tactical proficiency before deployment to operational squadrons.
