Excellent accurate in shape and livery markings of one of the first three BA deliveries in 1971. Together with WNA and C it sat by the road/taxiway crossing by TBA at Heathrow grounded from the start by a pilots’ pay dispute visited by engineers during the day and staff friends and family tours in the evenings. Once on line to USA, Australia via Middle East and Asia and Johannesburg via Nairobi the Pratt and Whitney engines proved unreliable with frequent take offs and landings. Later aircraft , the -236- and ultimately -436.:were switched to the more powerful Rolls Royce RB 211.

This is the best 400 scale version of this model. Thank you. B

I ordered all 4 B747 ARD Models of the BOAC/British Airways history. This one by far is my favorite.
